Organizer People Manager Tech Enthusiast
Early career focus was in software application/web development. Successful stint as an entrepreneur running small development shop, conducting software end-user trainings. I was possibly the happiest when in that role, driving all aspects of running a company.
Spent close to a decade as a consultant software engineer working for companies in the US like IBM, Citibank, Bank of America and others. I did enjoy those days too, because of the different technology stacks and environments you got to work in and the customer interaction.
The later part of my career has been focused on management aspects; about leveraging my software development, project management skills to manage development teams, new product implementations and product upgrades.
Most recently, (last 3 years), I have been managing DevOps engineering teams and leading agile DevOps transformation and enablement efforts. One of the most enjoyable and exciting parts of my last 3 years has been the unending continuous learning that I have been going through in the areas of DevOps and Cloud technologies. Sometimes its tough to retain information, but the sheer exposure to the various technologies and the understanding of best ways to architect solutions that help solve unique business problems in a revolutionary manner is extremely exciting.
I am very passionate about my work, but I also would like to consciously practice a work-life balance that is harmonious and positive for people around me, including my family, my team members and colleagues.
In my next job, I am looking for a place that values me for my skills and experience, and provides me an opportunity to deliver excellent results for the company. I am looking for generous time off package, where I can take occasional time off without feeling guilty(of course without missing any deadlines or work commitments). Don't really care about title, but the work should revolve around technology (could be any area, sales, marketing, engineering etc)
