Graduated with a supply chain degree and was eager to get in the 6 digit salary range so I went into sales at a logistics brokerage where I found success in 4 years. Shortly after hitting my mark, I lost all motivation as I really hated the sales process and dog eat dog environment. I skipped around different sales roles until I landed a Program Management role at Uber Freight which I really enjoyed the work. I had no experience so the new role was always a struggle but I was able to keep a float with good performance and high remarks from peers. Covid 19 laid off a third of our workforce and I absorbed 3 other peoples work load which is when I found my self completely swamped while recovering from a personal health issue. I took a Solution Sales job that I though would be a good mix of my sales experience and program management experience but the role turned into an Account Executive role that had heavy data entry and transactional work. I am looking for something that is similar to my program management role at Uber Freight but with a healthy work/life balance.
