Best way to get me excited about something
The best way is the same as most people.....
INCLUDE me in the process. I'm most likely to get excited and very invested when I am part of the process or planning. Ownership (or at least contribution) means EVERYTHING to most people, me included.

As my mom tells me - "If you didn't have bad luck, you'd have no luck at all" I have really bad luck honestly, but it also has taught me how to overcome challenges and adversity pretty readily.

If I am being honest, I'm not truly scared of much. In the grand scheme, I believe I can claw my way through almost anything. The only thing that truly scares me is dying before my girls can fend for themselves or losing one of them. I'm all they've really got, and they're all I really have when it boils down to it, so leaving them before they are independent adults is truly terrifying. Everything else could be a bit frightening, but can be overcome one way or another.
