I have 8 years rich experience in pharmaceutical traditional marketing in emerging markets (India and Kenya) in various therapeutic segments. Geographically have worked in all 24 states in India and entire Kenya region has given me a great skill to understand different clientele (doctors and pharmacies) and be able to create research on brands (company brands and competitor brands). After thorough research and analysis, create a marketing strategy that suits the geography. In market strategy, it’s important to consider different regional aspects and carry out solutions and strategies. I have handled several therapeutic segments in my 8 years of expertise. Have handled brands in categories: Anti-emetic, antacid- anti-reflux, multivitamin supplements, diabetic care, cardiovascular brands ,probiotic, Vaginal infection brands, constipation brands, Iron / Hemoglobin boosting brands, Orthopedic supplements, eye care multivitamin. I have successfully launched 4 brands; Vitamin D3, Tionoconazole (Vulvo vaginal candidiasis), Ondansetron, Iron (III) hydroxide polymaltose. I have done extensive data analysis from IMS/ ORG Data to SMSRC (Prescription data analysis, therapeutic data analysis), Market share and brand growth analysis. These analysis helps to understand which molecules and competitor brands are into which segment and key indications being targeted. This analysis further assists into building a strategy (STP) for a brand. Every mid-month and end month internal sales data I have extensively analyzed the data, geographically to understand the impact of strategy and campaigns and rebuild a campaign and strategy based on the movement (Success of any strategy and campaign depends more on the sales data). Have also created brand plans for 5 years roadmap both in India and Kenya considering the geographical aspect in each brand plan. In my 8 years I have gathered skills of analysis, training medical reps, create strategies & campaigns geographic specific, design promotional inputs, strong PowerPoint skills, presentation skills (Doctors/pharmacies), coordination with R&D team, designers’ team, sales team.
