What I'm like at work
I love connecting discrete ideas into a collective strategic vision! Brainstorming to work through a thorny problem or discover new solutions is fun for me, versus taxing. Despite my interest in the big picture, I'm also quite detail-oriented and am comfortable getting in the weeds on projects. I'm a social person, so personal context helps me to build trust with co-workers. I LOSE IT when people aren't accountable - can be patient forever if someone needs more time or is struggling, but if someone blatantly doesn't take responsibility for stuff or is flaky, I'll likely be unhappy.
Full storyMy areas for growth
Since I’m comfortable being assertive and also tend to experience things passionately, I’m working on pausing and stepping back more when navigating frustrating situations at work. I hate disappointing people, so I tend to get anxious about delivering a status update that isn’t positive - due to this am pushing myself to more actively communicate with stakeholders throughout the course of projects, even if the updates aren’t all positive. Given that all my partners are remote and my role is generally self-directed, this increased communication is essential!

I'm able to understand complex, unfamiliar concepts quickly and then effectively re-communicate those ideas to other people.

I'm always willing to make time to help someone think through a problem or unpack new thoughts or ideas. Am much happier in person than remote, so am always looking for opportunities to do work irl.
